Simple Korean Beef Bulgogi
Gluten-free food is hard to come by, but it's even harder to come by international dishes made gluten-free! I love trying different foods from different cultures but having Coeliac Disease means I normally miss out.
I was super excited to try out this Korean Beef Bulgogi dish which has been simplified to make it really easy to whip up at home.
What you’ll need:
1 Garlic clove (peeled and finely diced)
1 tbsp Ginger (peeled and finely diced)
Spring onions (diced, separate white part from green)
Tender stem broccoli
250g beef mince
1 cup Basmati Rice
1.5 tbsp of soy sauce
1/2 tbsp of sesame oil
1/2 tbsp of sesame seeds
1 tsp brown sugar
Method:
Bulgogi Sauce -In a bowl mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, half the garlic and 2/3 ginger and spring onion whites in a bowl.
Pour half the bulgogi sauce over the mince and let marinade for a least an hour, longer the wait the tastier it will be!
Afterwards, cook your rice, boil your broccoli for 2 minutes then fry with remaining ginger and garlic for another 2 minutes (you want it to be crunchy) and lastly fry your mince for up to 6 minutes.
Mix greens of spring onion within your rice and garnish dish with sesame seeds.

Looks great! How did you get the rice like that though?
