A friend recently shared this article with me from BuzzFeed. As I have been gluten-free for a few years now I can safely say I have endured every one of these meals and more!
An example I will always remember is during my stay in Russia in which I had paid for a 'tradition Russian dinner'. What I was met with was half a plate of chicken and a spoon full of salad. Then for dessert whilst everyone around me indulged in pancakes was a mushy cooked apple!

I remember this meal While I will say the pancakes were good, you definitely didn't miss out on the rest at least!
